About The Event

For more than 10 years STANSW has successfully run abridged versions of this program across regional centres in NSW with great response from both students and teachers. The event has been supported by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).  In 2018 we are excited to be hosted by University of Technology Sydney!

STANSW continues to bring the event to Sydney,  offering an expanded program in each science subject to incorporate extended responses, mandatory investigations and tips and tricks to produce band 6 answers in your HSC exams.

Science Teachers Association of NSW  is a not-for-profit organisations that supports teachers and their students in delivering top quality events, advice and support in Science Education.
Get tips from the experts and give yourself the best chance of succeeding in the HSC.   Unlike many of the commercial providers,  our presenters are science teachers who have current experience and involvement in the HSC marking process.

Full day lectures in each of the sciences will be held on each day.  Please check for cancellations and repeat sessions.    NB these workshops are not revision lectures.  The focus will be on exam tips and NESA expectations, how to answer the questions and what constitutes Band 3 or Band 6 answers.
