Irena Tasevska

Irena is the Executive Director at the Science Teachers Association of NSW, and has extensive leadership experience in the education and not for profit sectors. She has previously held executive roles at the Central Coast Conservatorium of Music and UNSW Sydney. Irena is passionate about science education and the important role that science teachers play in society. She holds tertiary qualifications in communications, music and psychology, and has a particular research interest in the intersection between neuropsychology and music.

 

 

Visnja Aw

Visnja Aw is currently Project Manager with the Science Teachers Association NSW, having spent the last 14 years with the Association in various roles witnessing it evolve and grow. With a background in media and communications she started her career in radio before taking up an events and administrative role with the Science Teachers Association NSW in 2005. As we commence this new era she looks forward to her role coordinating our Professional Learning activities and projects and aims to create opportunities for meaningful discourse and professional learning and growth for teachers K-12.  She looks forward to seeing you at an event soon!

 

 

Anne Muggleton

Anne Muggleton is currently Finance Officer at the Science Teachers Association, she has been serving the interests of our members for 16 years. Her previous positions include Lending Manager with the Commonwealth Bank and Member Administration and Finance Officer at Scouts. She received the Association Service Award from Professional Teacher’s Council in 2019 and has consistently committed to her loyalty and energies to the Association.

 

Emily Ha

Emily Ha is Administrator Officer at the Science Teachers Association. She has been serving the interests of our members for the past 10 years. She has a diploma in Fashion Design from KvB Institute of Technology in 2000. Worked in the industry for a number of years before leaving it all behind to pursue other passions. Committed to helping people, animals and the environment, Emily is fascinated with Astronomy, Microbiology and Chemistry, Rocks and Plants.

Zoe Larkin
Zoe Larkin, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at STANSW, has an extensive background 10+ years in event marketing for community organisations and nonprofits. With a particular focus on sponsorship and change management in the marketing and communications field, Zoe brings valuable expertise to the role. In addition to qualifications in marketing, fine art, and design, Zoe also holds a keen interest in biology and primary school teaching. While Zoe works remotely like others at STANSW, she is based in Victoria.
