Attention All Schools! Science in the House is ON!  

We are looking for schools across NSW to participate in Science in the House, a showcase of science education initiatives at NSW Parliament House on the 11th of August 2022, in the lead-up to National Science Week.   
Each participating school will have access to an exhibition space of approximately 2m X 2m (2 to 3 rectangle tables) in which to showcase. Members of the NSW Parliament and their staff will be invited to drop by the exhibition space and engage with different booths and initiatives.  
If you are interested in participating, please email [email protected] with your name, school and some brief details of the science project or initiative you would like to showcase.

Join us for Science in the House, to be held on 11 August at the Jubilee Room, Parliament House. 

Science in the House is an initiative of the Science Teachers Association of NSW, aiming to celebrate and showcase science education initiatives across the state. As part of Science in the House, we are inviting you to explore each of the stalls and meet the teachers, students and thinkers inspiring future generations.  The event will include an address by the Minister for Education, the Hon. Sarah Mitchell, Shadow Minister for Education, Ms Prue Car, and Dr Jaclyn Aldenhoven, Office of the NSW Chief Scientist.

Time: 11.00am – 2.30pm  - Jubilee Room 
Speeches: 1.30 pm - 2.00 pm 

On the cusp of National Science Week, Science in the House is a unique opportunity to explore some of the education and scientific advancements that our state has to offer.
