As a result of participating in the Leadership in Science, teachers will:

  • Increase skills, knowledge and attributes to lead others, to lead themselves effectively.
  • Increase their competency in coaching, communication and aligning performance for success.
  • Establish networking relationships with teachers outside their own school.
  • Interrogate evaluation, data and determine evidence of impact.

NESA Accreditation: The course is accredited for 4.5 hours per day (13.5h total) under L-PT-1b Engaging in evidence-based professional development that informs the leadership of self and deepens an understanding of the dimensions and capabilities which underpin effective student/child-centred leadership.
