5:30pm - Education Research – 20mins

Practical Discussion on what research is like and how to support students.
Dr Pullen will share his experience with the ethics approval process, and other aspects to consider with research and research Questions.
There will be an opportunity for Q&A from the audience after the presentation.

6:00pm - Collaborative Session

Participants will be workshop in groups on Research Portfolios.
This is an opportunity for sharing.
Please bring examples of how you assess and support your students in their portfolio.
 

Senior Lecturer, School of Chemistry, University of Sydney  
Dr Reyne Pullen is currently employed as an Education-focused Senior Lecturer in the School of Chemistry, University of Sydney. Reyne has experience in delivering online and blended learning experiences, and designing course-level blended learning models, both at the tertiary level. Reyne has also worked within the secondary education sector, teaching both science and maths.

Once you have renewed your STA membership for the year, you will receive our email comms and invitations for the networks.

Register for the first time via the Zoom link and you will be added to the Communication Hub where you can access session recordings, resources and connect with other network members.

We hope to see you at the first network meeting of the year for a meet and greet and discussion on what you want to get out of the network catch ups throughout the year.
