Whether you are in your first year, mid-career or a department head, the STANSW mentoring program suite is providing a collegial space for you to learn, grow and thrive as you develop your skills and support you along your teaching career. You can join in for one year or perhaps use the program as a regular process that is supportive of your professional development meeting the Australian Professional standards for teachers over time.

The Early Career Teachers Course will offer a range of areas and strategies will be covered to help you survive and thrive in your first years.  From administration to risk assessment reporting, WHS, running safe practicals, classroom management,  parent teacher interviews, becoming proficient and NESA requirements, reading the Syllabus and writing assessments,   and tips and strategies to surviving the first few years of teaching.

Term 2: Wed 16 June      (online) twilight 90mins 
Term 3: Tues 7 Sept        twilight 90mins   (face-to-face +social ) COVID pending 
Term 4: Wed 20 Oct       (online) mentoring session : twilight 90mins

*Member discounts will be applied according to your member grade.
*Once registered you will be emailed an order confirmation. Invoices can be downloaded from the transaction section on your account page.

*Payment must be received by 23rd March for registration to be valid.
*Please do not submit an order or payment if you are not sure if you have current membership. Please sign-in to your account to check or renew membership before registering.
*No refunds if you have not renewed your membership at the time of registration.

Cancellation Policy: Any amendments to registration must be advised in writing to the STANSW office before the event registration close date**. Full refunds will not be issued if cancellation is after the registration close date.  As an alternative to cancellation, registration can be transferred to another person by notifying the STANSW office. Final enrolment transfers and modifications will be accepted until 23rd March. No refunds will be given if STANSW is not notified of a cancellation.

Refund period: A full refund will be available to all cancellations made before the registration close date** An admin fee will be applied to all orders cancelled after this date.

cancellation before 26 March 2021- 60% refund
cancellation from 27 March 2021 - 0% refund
