Meet the Markers of the '2020 HSC Science Examinations'

Meet the Markers Logo

Meet the Markers is Science Teachers Association NSW flagship event held annually. MTM provides teachers with the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the previous year's HSC Science Exam results, including setting of HSC examinations, as well as the marking processes and implementation of the HSC marking guidelines.

The new HSC, one year on – What have we learnt?

As a result of participating in the Meet the Markers professional learning activity, teachers will:

  • be more adept at assisting their students to interpret and answer questions, and thus better prepare students for the VALID test and HSC Trials and Examinations.
  • increase their understanding of the HSC marking process and procedures as well as refine their skills in constructing and marking school-based assessment tasks in line with HSC procedures.
