The STANSW 2026 Virtual Forum: Excelling Science across NSW is an online professional learning series accessible to all science teachers across NSW.

The series runs across four days. Tickets will be available to purchase per day, and recordings will be available after each session so that ticket holders can watch ‘on demand’ following the sessions.

Day One: Thursday 17 September, 4.30-6.30pm

Day Two: Thursday 8 October, 4.30pm – 6.30pm

Day Three: Thursday, 15 October, 4.30pm – 6.30pm

Day Four: Thursday, 29 October, 4.30pm – 6.30pm  

Join us at the Virtual Forum for:

  • Accessible, high-quality professional learning for NSW science teachers and primary teachers looking to enhance science lessons.
  • A diverse mix of workshop highlights from STANSW’s Primary and Secondary Conferences in a virtual format, alongside new contributions from regional presenters.
  • Guidance on science syllabus changes through sessions on pedagogy, assessment, practical investigations, depth studies, content progression, and working scientifically skills.

STANSW is a NESA recognised PD provider. Attendance at this conference can be logged as up to 2hours of PD as part of NESA maintenance and accreditation requirements.
