About Min Fang

Min Fang is an experienced science educator and Head Teacher at Davidson High School with over ten years of classroom and leadership experience. She is passionate about improving student outcomes through high-impact teaching strategies, particularly in the areas of literacy and formative assessment. Min developed the Think & Ink Science program to help students write with clarity, precision, and confidence in science. She has also led professional learning, supporting teachers to embed literacy and formative assessment into their practice in meaningful, sustainable ways.

At STANSW, Min will share practical strategies and resources that build scientific literacy and support student learning through formative assessment. Her session will include classroom-ready tools, scaffolded writing techniques, and ways to make student thinking visible – all grounded in real classroom practice.
