The Great Southern Reef Foundation would like to share a suite of free, curriculum-aligned classroom resources for Foundation to Year 12, developed around the 35 minute documentary White Rock. The film is available to schools via ClickView, making it easy to integrate into teaching programs.
White Rock explores the rapid expansion of longspined sea urchins and the resulting decline of Australia’s kelp forests. It brings together perspectives from Traditional Owners, fishers, scientists, and emerging industries, highlighting both the scale of the challenge and practical, nature-positive responses.
